Dear Students,
Welcome back to another exciting school year at Pinnacle Academy High School! We hope you had a wonderful summer filled with fun and relaxation. We are thrilled to introduce this year's theme: "Walk in Your Power."
At Pinnacle Academy, we believe in empowering each of you to recognize and utilize your unique Strengths and talents. This theme encourages you to take ownership of your education, embrace challenges, and strive for excellence in all that you do.
First day of School September 5th 2024
On September 5th, our Superintendent Rashon K. Hasan greeted our students and encouraged them to spread kindness, focus on their attendance and life post-high school graduation.
Our students participated in various teambuilding activities to assist with having a positive culture and climate here at Pinnacle Academy High School.
Jobs For America’s Graduates (J.A.G)
On September 11th, student’s enrolled in our (J.A.G) program participated in the 2024 HBCU NY Classic - Education Day at Kean University, Union, NJ. This event provided our students the opportunity to learn more about the importance of furthering their education and to explore and discover the exciting programs and experiences HBCU’s have to offer.
Green Ribbon Week September 16th - 20th
On September 16th, Pinnacle Academy kicks off their Green Ribbon Week. The purpose of Green Ribbon Week is to focus on Positive Mental Health Practices. Students practiced daily affirmations in their classrooms.
Students and staff were encouraged to wear green on Friday, September20th. Green is the color of hope and all positive things related to our well-being.
Hispanic Heritage Month September 15th - October 10th

On September 16th, Pinnacle Academy kicks off their Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration with a special lunch from Cafeteria Staff.
Jobs For America’s Graduates (J.A.G)
On September 18th, students enrolled in our JAG Program participated in the Colgate Career Fair hosted at Plainfield High School. Students were exposed to various career opportunities within the Colgate network.
Rep Your Flag Day September 20th, 2024
On September 20th, students and staff represented their Hispanic country of choice.
