During the academic year of 2023-2024, we had a chronically absenteeism rate of 86.79%. It is imperative that all students attend school every day. Our goal for the academic year (2024-2025) is to have a rate of 50% or less.
Please note that we are adhering to our District’s Initiative regarding Attendance
5 days absent is a referral to our Family Liaison for a home visit
10 days absent is a referral to District Residential Officer for a petition to court
To report student absences, please communicate through Parent Square.
Red Ribbon Week
October 23rd - October 31st, 2024
Throughout the Week of October 23rd, Pinnacle Academy students participated in various activities for Red Ribbon Week. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to spread awareness on Substance Use Prevention.
Events included SEL classroom presentations on Resilience and Emotional Wellness, Red Ribbon Trivia facilitated by Mr. Lucky (SAC), Substance Use Prevention Assembly facilitated by (NJ4S), and Positive Coping Skills facilitated by Iris House. Students and Staff were encouraged to wear Red in honor of celebrating life.

Fashion Visionary and Entrepreneurship - Keely Bembry

Keely Bembry's fashion journey began in New York City, where she quickly gained recognition as a costume designer and celebrity stylist. Known for her meticulous eye and her ability to craft timeless looks that celebrate individuality, Keely has made an indelible mark on the industry.
During her recent visit to Pinnacle, she shared her inspiring story, reminding students that “their gifts will make room for them.”
Stand up against drugs
October 31st, 2024
On October 31st, 2024, students and staff were encouraged to wear “Superhero” shirts to help our community stand up against drugs.
